Steep Menu Branding
This conceptual menu design explores the natural yet ephemeral nature of tea.
The menu was created from a birch wood that was Japanese stitched and bound. The natural elements of the wood and thread are indicative of tea and it's native origins.
The vertical menu layout allowed for comprehensive descriptions of the tea in an elevated style. In addition, as a reader looks through the offerings, their eyes travel down the page in a way that is similar to watching tea being poured. The only graphic elements are of watercolor swatches, derived from tea.
Steep offers a tea packaging solution that reinforces the organic minimalism of the menu, allowing the product to be the dominant visual while reinforcing the circular geometry seen throughout the logo and menu design.
